How to find the suitable PalmaSutra version for your device?
Here we have listed all available versions with description and screenshots:
1. The 1bit, lowres version
Runs on all older handhelds with Palm OS 2.0 and above, but displays only
in black and white. Use this version, if you
have a Palm Pilot Professional or similar device.

2. The 2bit, lowres version
This version is suitable for handhelds running Palm OS 3.0 and above. It displays in
4 greyscales and is recommended for the following devices: Palm IIIx/e, Handspring Visor/Deluxe,
IBM Workpad C3 and similar devices.

3. The 4bit, lowres version
If you have a newer greyscale device with Palm OS 3.5 or above, this is the choice for you. It shows up in
16 greyscales on the following devices: Palm V/x, Palm m500, Palm m100/m105/m125, Palm Zire,
Handspring Visor Pro/Neo/Platinum/Edge, Sony Clié S300, S320 and similar devices.

4. The 4bit HandEra version
This version is only suitable for the HandEra 330 handheld with a 240x320 greyscale display.

5. The 8bit color, lowres version
You have a Palm IIIc, Palm m505/m515 or a Handspring Visor Prism? Then use this version. It runs
on all lowres color devices with Palm OS 3.5 or above.

6. The 8bit color, highres version
If you own a Sony Clié with 320x320 or 320x480 high resolution screen, this is the version for you.
Unfortunately, the higher resolution is not available for Palm OS 5 "high density" devices. If you
have a Tungsten or Zire 71 handheld, please download the 8bit lowres version.

Simply choose the version for your handheld, then go to our
Download section, choose the appropriate language and download your version.
There have been two 16 color versions of PalmaSutra 2.1 - we did not upload them, as they can be trouble-free
replaced by the 8bit (256 colors) versions on every handheld. And of course, the variety of versions is already
confusing enough...
